“When I sing, I try to live the song or live the emotion of the song. The space I’m in doesn’t exist. It’s another world.” - the man who has been rated as Rock’s fifth greatest voice of all time; the man who pioneered the “pseudo-messianic role taken up later by Jim Morrison and Robert Plant”; the man who “took flight, roaring and howling and ripping his mic chord through the air like he was lassoing cattle”; the man who continues to cement himself into the history of rock; the man with the extraordinary voice and explosive stage presence – the man: Roger Daltrey.

Roger Daltrey has racked up the awards during his insanely impressive career – both as frontman of The Who and as a solo artist - spanning over 60 years – from a Golden Globe Award and Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award for outstanding significance in music; to a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction and being appointed a Commander of the Order of the British Empire for services to music, the entertainment industry, and charity, among many other global accolades.

Apart from Roger Daltrey’s massive discography as The Who’s frontman as well as multiple collaborations and guest appearances, he also has a highly successful solo career. With eight solo studio albums, there is no doubt that Roger Daltrey has cemented himself into the history of Rock, and will be worshipped by fans, young and old alike, for ages to come.

Roger Daltrey will be backed by the instrument prowess of Simon Townsend and a group of nine musicians playing a unique mixture of electric and acoustic instruments at the amazing 3,400 seat, covered open-air Pavilion at Ravinia in Highland Park, Illinois. This venue is also the home of the prestigious, longest-running festival in the United States, the Ravinia Festival, and hosts up to 200 world-class events every year.

The Scottish singer-songwriter, KT Tunstall will be appearing as a special guest. She has made her mark internationally with her sumptuous powerhouse vocals and the energetic, propulsive beat and inventiveness of her music.
